I finally got my windows washed by Dan Dan The Window Man. The windows were so clouded over. I couldn’t see the trees swaying in the breeze.
I didn’t have them washed last year because of Covid and they were pretty bad. Most everyone stopping in to see me commented on them and of course I was feeling guilty about how they looked. You could write your name on the glass!
The window man’s first comment was “Wow, you sure need me!” I asked the stupid question “What do you think caused it?”
He was very efficient taking the windows out and getting all sides cleaned. He even stood back and admired his work.
“There you go,” he said. “Sparkling clean!”
Yes, they were. The blur of film was gone. I could see the leaves on the trees. My daughter wouldn’t remind me to get the windows washed. The sun would shine in!
Of course, I worried I’d be charged more because they were so bad, but that didn’t happen.
Dan Dan the Window Man did admire an extra small recliner I had and asked if I wanted to sell it.
“You can have it,” I told him. “Just haul it out!”
It might be my insurance policy for next year’s “sparkling clean” charges.
