Keith and Kay Swisher and Alyssa Christie ate at Top O' The River with her aunt and uncle Judie and Mickey Moore of Albertville and her first cousin Gary Thrasher, his wife Elaine and their son and grandson of Locust Fork.
Betty Fricks' first cousin Joan Tucker Morgan of Grove Oak passed away March 12. Several went to the Rainsville Funeral Home to visit with her family. She was the wife of Don Morgan and the daughter of the late Odell and Euthema (Noles) Tucker.
Howard Wayne (Tuttlebug) Colquitt of Rome, Georgia, passed away last week. He was a former resident of this community. He was the son of the late Homer and Evie Lou (Swords) Colquitt.
We had a bad thunderstorm here the other day, with real bad lightning and thunder. The electricity went out for about 4 hours in the night. It did some damage at the Lisa Berry family home.
Randy and Faye Smith and Bobby and Gale Pendergrass of the Fork of the Creek went to the Five Points Cafe Friday night and ate a fish supper.
Robert and Roxie Hill have to go to the Heart Center.Â
Rockie Hill's cousin Marie Strange got to go home from the Albertville Nursing Home. She was in Marshall South hospital a week and then spent three weeks in rehab at the nursing home. She lives in Albertville.Â
