Violet Heath had family members visiting her on the 23rd and 24th. There was lots of people, lots of food and lots of fun. Violet spent Christmas Day at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Becky and Wayne Whitaker. They have a beautiful home on Bishop Mountain, with a gorgeous view.

Bobby and Sandy Cameron had 19 members of family on Christmas Day at Arab. Catherine Cameron, still recuperating from a back procedure, was able to attend. We had a day of food, fun and games.

Olivia Grayson had a birthday on December 26th. She was 19 years old. She attends Snead College.

Rodger and Joy Horton have a new great-grandson, born in Washington, Illinois.

Loyce Winton is back at home, after spending time at her daughter’s Donna and Mike Graves of Ft. Payne and at her son Monty and his wife’s at Albertville. Loyce had an injury to her leg that did not heal quickly. Monty and Janet’s daughter from Birmingham was home for the holidays.

Nancy and Leon MCoy had family at their home on Christmas Day.

Catherine Cameron received a nice basket of goodies from Buddy and Sheila Alred.

Frances Wrenn’s grandson, Andrew Wrenn, celebrated his 16th birthday on the 27th . His family took him out to eat. His Dad is Daniel Wrenn and his grandmother is Frances Wrenn. The most important thing was Andrew got his driver’s license.

Thanks to Daryl and Brenda Sweat, I now have 53 more collector’s spoons. Thanks, folks, you are great and thoughtful too.

Frances Wrenn’s brother, Steve Brown, from Houston, Texas, was in the vicinity visiting relatives over the holidays. He was visiting at the home of Frances’ daughter of Harvest, Alabama.
