Bad things seem to follow me lately. First, I had to have a new hot water heater. Next was four new tires, my old ones had dry rotted. So what is next?

Claysville community has lost a beloved citizen. Jane Rutland died on Saturday, Sept. 7. Her children called her "the Mayor of Claysville." She will be missed. 

Deborah Moore is getting around without her wheelchair. She is now using a walker. 

Stanley Stewart is having hip surgery. 

Cecelie Trevor and Walker Grizzard visited their great grandmother, Dulcie Walls. 

My neighbor Lyndsae Edwards brought my dinner on Thursday night. 

The youth of Baker's Chapel Baptist Church took a boat ride to watch flying bats at the cave. 

Maliyah and Camdyn Edwards visited with me while their mom did errands.  

My friend who grew up in my neighborhood, Sandra Iffland, stopped for a visit.

My son Philip Cameron visited briefly on Sunday.
