Grant mayor Larry Walker encouraged motorists going off the backside of the mountain to be especially cautious.
Work is underway to repair a slide on Cathedral Caverns Highway near DAR School as you head off into Kennamer Cove.
“It looks like they’re going to have to dig out one lane, so people need to be really careful in that work zone,” Mayor Walker said. “What is the speed limit in that zone?”
Grant Police Chief Chris Bearden: “I believe it’s 25. But the lanes they have set up are so narrow, you should really drive slower.”
