Philip and Lisa Berry and Robert and Roxie Hill ate Easter lunch with Junior and Joann Berry in the Piney Grove community. Most of their family was there, but a few were out due to sickness.
We sure have been been getting a lot of rain lately. We had a lot of wind here Tuesday night.
The Rev. Bobby and Gale Pendergrass of Grove Oak visited Robert and Roxie Hill Sunday afternoon.Â
Several attended the Easter egg hunt at Center Point Church Saturday, March 31. After they got through with the egg hunt, they all had lunch at the church.
Faye Smith's cousin Barbara (Harrison) McBee of Chattanooga passed away recently. Randy and Faye Smith and Stanley and Tooter Murdock of Grove Oak went up there. Barbara and her sister Jean used to spent the summer down here with their grandparents, the late Albert and Annie Fricks, and uncles and aunts, Sid and Louis Pruett and Pete and Nadine Wilborn. She was the daughter of the late Oliver (Dock) and Susie (Fricks) Harrison.Â
James Fricks' uncle Paul Murdock of Grove Oak seems to be getting better since he had a pacemaker put in a few weeks ago. He is able to be out and about some now.
Bob and Janice Pruett of Fyffe visited cousin Dorothy Faye Walker in the Albertville Nursing Home the other day. She is also a cousin to Roxie Hill and Ann Bryant. Dorothy Faye is from near Arab.Â
Roxie Hill's nephew Kerry Clayton of Boaz had to go to the emergency room. He got stung or bit by something and he was allergic to it. He is better now.Â
