Dean Grayson had visitors from Vidalia, Georgia. They were Patricia and Claudette Robbins. Her husband Leon Grayson was 77 on June 19 and her grandson Blaine Grayson was 18 on June 29.
Trenton Moore and Lexi Hughes were united in marriage on Sunday, July 7, in her parents’ yard. Trenton had to go back to his military duties at Groton, Connecticut, on Monday.
Deborah Moore was able to make a trip to town.

I miss Roxie Hill’s column, although I did not know many of the people she wrote about. I did talk to her daughter, Lisa, briefly.
Bakers Chapel Baptist Church is having a Vacation Bible School on Friday, Saturday and Sunday the 19-21. Friday and Saturday, it will be from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday at 9:45 a.m.
Bakers Church had a women’s meeting on Tuesday. Those present were Francis Wrenn, Rita Graham, Betty Ratchford, Louise Beard, Violet Heath, Becky Whitaker and Caroline Cook. They met on Tuesday for their monthly missions meeting.
Joy Horton came home from Barfield Health Care and the hospital. She is much better.
Violet Heath’s sister, Ossie Reid, and her nephew, Hank, and his wife, Carolyn Pritchett of Oxford, came up to visit.
