Lewis and Bobby Stewart, Marty Ann Bundy and Loyce Winton made a trip to see Loyce’s sisters, Joyce Hobbs and Alveda Rhymer, in Altamont, Tennessee. Alveda had her 90th birthday in August. The group took food and the Tennessee folks had food, so they enjoyed a good lunch.

Mildred Bailey spent a week with her daughter and her husband, Linda and Jervis Young in Birmingham. Jervis is a Baptist preacher.

Frances Wrenn’s great-grandson, Emmett Jamison of Indiana, celebrated his 2nd birthday.

Friday, Oct. 23, is my youngest son Phillip Cameron’s birthday. He will be 58. Then the 26th will be my grandson Andy Cameron’s birthday.

Chris Stewart, son of Lewis and Kate Stewart, will have a knee replacement on Friday, Oct. 23.

Loyce Winton’s daughter and her husband, Donna and Mike Graves, paid her a visit recently. Donna and Mike live in Fort Payne.

My daughter-in-law Sandy Cameron’s sister-in-law Sheila Mize of Gurley had some heart repair work and 2 bypasses. She has been feeling really bad, so this should make her feel better.

Frances Wrenn paid a visit to see Nancy and Leon McCoy. Nancy is still feeling weak and has lost lots of weight.

My friend and classmate of 1952’s graduating class of Woodville High School, Glenn Cline made the news recently. The Advertiser-Gleam showed him, our county commissioner and the engineer cutting the ribbon on the new bridge on Cavern Cove Road. It also showed Glenn driving his truck across the new bridge.
