Violet Heath’s son’s great grandson is still in St. Jude’s Hospital. He is 3-year-old Sawyer Hosinger of Mississippi. The family took his 6-year-old brother, Haden, to visit him as they thought it might help him feel better. They are treating Sawyer for symptoms of leukemia.
Kay Anderton, who is in my Sunday School class, had a 50-year-old nephew, Earl Anderton, to die of symptoms of COPD last week. He is the dad of 14-year-old Donna Anderton, who is being cared for by his aunt, and he leaves a girlfriend, who is the mother of Donna.
Frances Wrenn’s daughter, Kathryn Powell of Grant, had a birthday on August 23rd.
My great nephew, Justin Sullivan, the son of Davy and Betty Sullivan of Scottsboro, has just recovered from Covid. He is back at work.
Deborah Moore, attended a “monogram shower” for her granddaughter Savannah Moore of Arab, who is getting married on October 2nd.
Joy and Rodger Horton’s son, Matthew Horton, was getting off from work and headed to his car when he discovered a snake on his boot. He managed to shake it off. Joy and Rodger’s son, Chris Taylor of Peoria, Illinois, has spots on a lung and is coughing a lot. They have two friends in Peoria who have the virus.
Kate Stewart is scheduled to have knee replacement surgery on September 16th in Huntsville.
Frances Wrenn’s friends of Huntsville came and spent the day with her. They restrung 10 of her dolls. They replaced rubber bands with cord.
Deborah Moore accidentally ran over her dog with her car. She said the vet bill was horrendous.
Delores and Bud Moore kept their 1-year-old great granddaughter overnight, Gracie Moore, the daughter of Lexie and Trenton Moore.
