Douglas Homecoming Nominees:

The Douglas Homecoming queen nominees are, from left:

Front - Allie Tarvin, Summer Ford and Ayrn Adam.

Back - Erica Keel, Kayla Uchols and McKenzie Garner. 

Douglas High School will have its homecoming on Friday, October 5. They will play the Southside-Gadsden Panthers. 

Douglas will hold their homecoming parade on Friday, October 5, at 2:15 p.m. The parade will begin at the Douglas Water Board and follow Bethlehem Road, turn left onto Highway 75 then turn right  by the baseball field. It will end at the football field.

Douglas High School homecoming underclass representatives are:

Freshman – Erica Keel – She is the daughter of Juanita and Eric Keel. She is a member of FCA and the Science Club. She plays basketball and volleyball. She is also a Harvest Festival Representative, class favorite and class beauty.

Sophomore – Mackinzie Garner – She is the daughter of Tracy Lee and Tobbie Garner. She is a member of the science club and an SGA representative. She plays volleyball and is also class beauty.

Junior – Kayla Echols – She is the daughter of Brian Echols and Connie Tinsley. She is a member of the Science Club, Book Club, History Club, National Honors Society, SGA representive and FCA. She is the vice president of her class. She plays basketball, volleyball and runs track. She was also voted class beauty.

The senior homecoming queen nominees are:

Ayrn Adams – She is the daughter of Ashley and Clifford Adams. She is a member of the Book Club, Science Club, Spanish Club, History Club, National Honor Society and Mu Alpha Theta. She plays softball, volleyball and cheers. She is the senior class president and was voted class beauty.

Allie Tarvin – She is the daughter of Steve and Sherry Tarvin. She is a member of FCA, Science Club, History Club and Book Club. She is the reporter for SGA and senior class secretary. She plays basketball and volleyball. She was also voted class beauty and class favorite.

Summer Ford – She is the daughter of Jamie Ford and Carmen Ross. She is a member of the National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta, Science Club, Book Club, History Club, FCA and an SGA representative.
