3-2-1 Blast Off!

The Grant Public Library is participating with the U.S. Space & Rocket Center in Huntsville with a Global Rocket Launch to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Apollo 11 mission to the moon.

Next Tuesday, July 16, Grant Public Library joins with organizations and individuals around the world to launch model rockets in honor of the mission in which Commander Neil Armstrong took his “one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind.”

July 16th was chosen to coincide with the date of the original launch of the Huntsville-based Saturn V rocket. Get your rockets ready!
