Free Breakfast Offered

Guntersville Elementary and Cherokee Elementary offer free breakfast for all of their students.

There are signs up at Guntersville Elementary and Cherokee Elementary schools reminding students to eat breakfast.

According to Julia Covington, the Child Nutrition Program director for the Schools of Guntersville, the program is to promote and encourage students to eat breakfast. It is the most important meal of the day and this program allows the younger students to eat for free.

The signs features Cubcat Cafe and Baby Wiley. He is there to let the students know to go eat breakfast. These signs are on display at the schools now.

Breakfast is offered free at the 2 elementary schools.
