The weather pattern of high temperatures continued this past weekend for the 14th Annual Grant Mile Plus Yard Sale.

Saturday, September 28, saw a bit milder morning temperatures and larger than expected crowds to Main Street Grant for the annual community event. Shoppers and browsers came out early and were greeted by over 100 reserved vendors placed throughout the town.

Attendees enjoyed a bit of everything this year, from sidewalk vendors and Grant merchant sales, library book sales, antiques, old fashioned church rummage sales, festival foods and a lot of smiling faces out enjoying the day.

There was even an onsite donation truck for convenient drop-off of unsold items. The event continues to grow each year with new food vendors and boutique items, yet the idea of a community yard sale theme remains the same.

The Grant Chamber of Commerce extends a big thank you to the Town of Grant, Grant merchants, the Grant community, and Shepherd’s Cove Hospice for their cooperation and continued support of the annual yard sale event.
