Most churches around Marshall County are changing the way they conduct worship services and other gatherings due to the COVID-19 precautions.

We've heard of these changes:

First Baptist Guntersville will have no Wednesday night services or activities for the next 3 weeks. No Sunday services on March 22. They plan to resume services on March 29.

Guntersville First United Methodist Church has canceled all church activities until April 5. They will have a live stream worship service online. 

Guntersville Church of Christ will have communion services on Sundays for the next 2 weeks at 9 a.m. and 10 a.m. Groups are asked to spread out in groups no larger than 10 people.

Lake City Assembly of God has canceled all services for Sunday and Wednesday. They plan to reopen for services Sunday, March 29. 

Henryville United Methodist Church will be closed this week, but plans on streaming or having messages on their website. 

Connect Church will not be meeting on campus for the next few weeks. There is more information on their Facebook page. They will have worship and message services at 10 a.m. This applies to all locations. 

The Episcopal Church of the Epiphany has cancelled all services for the next few weeks. 

First Baptist Church Union Grove has decided to cancel all services and activities on their church campus for the next two weeks. They will do a live broadcast on Facebook at 9 a.m for Sunday School and 10 a.m. for worship service each week.

Pleasant Hill No. 2 Baptist Church services cancelled through April 5.

Albertville First United Methodist Church will be closed for the next 2 weeks. Their plan is to be open on April 5. They will have their usual radio spot. 

Gilliam Spring Baptist Church will be closed until March 28. The church will make the decision if they will have services on March 29 on Tuesday, March 24. There are no services or any extra activities. 

Arab First Baptist Church will not have any services until April 5. The business office will be open, but they are only doing business by phone or email. The church will reevaluate closer to April 5 on if they will reopen. 

Arab Church of Christ will be doing a broadcast on their Facebook page, but they will not have a service at their campus. The service is at 10:30 a.m. They will not have any Wednesday services either. The schedule for next Sunday has not been made. 

Arab First United Methodist will have online services on March 22 and March 29. They will still have their radio spot on at 11 a.m. There is more information on their Facebook page. The church plans on meeting and discussing more on March 30 about the upcoming church services.
