Will Marsh, a junior at GHS, has predicted which teams will win this week in the NCAA football games.
He predicted that South Carolina will defeat Akron.
Marshall will lose to Virginia Tech.
Texas will win against Oklahoma.
UAB will be victorious against Middle Tennessee.
Stanford will be defeated by California.
Memphis will suffer a loss to UCF.
Clemson will triumph over Pitt.
Alabama will attain a win against Georgia.

Last Friday, the GHS basketball teams had their first home game of the 2019 season against the Douglas Eagles.
The varsity boys defeated Douglas 55 to 31. Logan Bonds said,”It was amazing to get to play my last first home game and win. Nothing beats doing what you love with boys that have worked so hard to have a great season.”
The JV boys also beat the Eagles 87 to 21. JV player Paul Bruce said, “We have worked really hard preparing for this season and we are glad it’s paying off.”
The GHS basketball teams also played on Tuesday, November 27, at GHS against the Albertville Aggies. The varsity boys lost 50 to 42. The varsity girls lost 60 to 33. The JV boys lost 61 to 60. JV girls lost 27-37. The 9th grade boys defeated the Aggies 63-52 . We are very proud of our Guntersville Wildcats!
Work-Based Learning

The Work-Based Learning (WBL) program at Guntersville High School announces that Jacob Melcher has been selected as the “Employee of the Week.”
Jacob works as an auto technician at A & D. He is pictured with his supervisors and owners, Mrs. Donna Looney and Mr. Anthony Looney.
The WBL program expresses appreciation to A & D for being a supporter of the program. This business has been selected as “Employer of the Week.”
