The Child Advocacy Center of Marshall County was established to protect and fight for vulnerable and victimized youth in the county. The CAC’s scope of extensive and professional services ranges from family advocacy, child therapy, counseling, forensic interviews, evaluations of children and witnesses of suspected child sexual abuse, case management coordination, collaboration and court testimony, as well as in school programs.

CASA: Care Assurance Systems for the Aging and Homebound (CASA) of Marshall County, provides critical services that help the elderly at risk. Oftentimes voiceless and homebound. Helping them live, at home safely, independently with dignity takes many services. CASA provides a wide array of services such as Transportation, Wheelchair Ramps, Emergency Food Vouchers, Vegetables from the CASA Garden, Holiday Food & Gift Bags, Emergency Food Vouchers, in depth evaluations and welfare checks with follow up plans including referrals, heaters, air conditioners, support with utility payments and medication. One last important aspect of the service is called CASA Cares where volunteers adopt a client and stay in contact with them via cards, calls and visits. For many it is the only friendly face our clients get to see, and the only familiar voices they get to speak with.

“Thanks for the life-changing support you are providing for those in need on both ends of the age spectrum through your sponsorship and support of CASA and the CAC,” shared Jean McCrady.
