Blankenship To Talk Photos

Bob Blankenship will talk about photography in an Arts Talk at MVAC next week.

Mountain Valley Arts Council’s next Art Talks will feature artist Bob Blankenship, a photographer of Guntersville. The Art Talks will be June 16, 12:30 – 1:30 p.m., and is free to the public at the MVAC Gallery at 440 Gunter Avenue in Guntersville.

If you are on Facebook, you have likely run across Bob Blankenship’s local photography - scenes of Guntersville’s rare snows, City Harbor’s progress, sunsets from north of the river bridge, Sunset Drive’s eagles and white pelicans.

His photography is also throughout the new City Harbor special events area. Bob has many of his photos printed on wrapped canvases which don’t even need a frame to look great on a wall. He has work on exhibit at the Lake Guntersville State Lodge and also in the June exhibit, Art by Men, at Mountain Valley Arts Council.

MVAC Art Talks are free to the public due to generous grants such as Alabama State Council on the Arts, Guntersville, PNC, Citizen’s Bank & Trust, and Rodney’s Flowers as well as generous MVAC members.

Please join us for a sip of punch and cookies and a fine time talking about photography with Bob Blankenship.
