Susie Conerly, Jenny Powers and Trey Giles are with Powers Realty.

They both work for Powers Realty and now Trey Giles and Susie Conerly will be working even closer together.

The 2 agents are teaming up to “co-list” property. They say it should mean better service for their customers.

“Susie has the woman’s touch and I’ve got the man’s,” Giles said. “If one of us is unavailable to show a property, the other will be.”

They’re calling their partnership “Say Susie, Say Sold.”

Both have been in the real estate business for years. Susie is just getting going strong again after suffering a fall awhile back that required a few surgeries to get over.

As other realtors have mentioned, inventory is a bit of an issue in the Guntersville market right now. It’s something of a seller’s market.

“The average time on the market is about 100 days in Huntsville now and I’d think we’re not far behind that,” Giles said.

Jenny Powers is the broker at Powers Realty. She’s been in the real estate business since the mid-1980s and worked in Gulf Shores before coming home to Guntersville many years ago.

Giles noted another change in the real estate market lately. Loans are not as difficult to get as they were a few years ago. Mortgage rates were at around 3.5 percent this week, he said.

With a scarcity of homes on the market in Guntersville, Giles and Conerly advise buyers to make offers as quickly as they can if possible. Conerly said she’s had instances where a home has only been on the market a day or 2 and it had already sold by the time her prospective buyer made an offer.

People wanting to talk to them about real estate can reach Conerly at 256-302-2236 or Giles at 256-470-0459.
