HydroFest 2019 is fast approaching and the planning committee is asking for volunteers to help out with the three-day boat racing event.

Last year, more than 200 community volunteers supported the event by monitoring parking lots, gate entry points, pit areas and many more locations throughout the event venue. Volunteer positions are available for all three days, June 28-30.

“We are grateful for all the support from individuals and businesses in our community,” said Katy Norton, president of the Marshall County CVB. “This event would not be possible without the volunteers who give of their time and the sponsors who financially support our efforts. Last year we were amazed by the number of people who were excited and wanted to get involved. We hope this year’s event will generate the same excitement.”

HydroFest offers a great opportunity for companies to encourage community involvement and for friends and families to serve together. Shifts are available each day and volunteers can sign up online at www.guntersvillelakehydrofest.com.

Each volunteer receives a free general admission weekend pass, a HydroFest T-shirt and lunch.
