A Guntersville man has been charged with 2 counts of distribution of methamphetamine, according to a Guntersville Police spokesman.

Police attempted to stop Robert Lawayne Moore, but he fled, the spokesman said. He was apprehended at 1900 Williamson Street. In addition to the 2 drug distribution counts, he was charged with reckless endangerment, attempting to elude, resisting arrest and possession of marijuana 1st degree.

He was taken to the city jail and is expected to be transferred to the county jail. His bond was set at $60,000 – $30,000 each – on the distribution charges and $5,000 on the new charges for a total of $65,000.
