Cadillac Williams played football at Auburn 2001-2004. A sportscaster called him “Cadillac” because his play was a notch above everyone else and the nickname stuck.
He was a big part of the team in 2004 when the Tigers went 13-0 and won the Sugar Bowl. Despite the perfect season, they finished in the polls No. 2 behind USC. Cadillac was named All-SEC.
He was the 5th pick in the 2005 NFL Draft by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, signing a 5-year, $31 million contract.
He currently serves as Auburn’s running backs coach.
