Rocky Stephen “Bubba” Frazier Jr., 39, has been charged with felony assault and shooting into an unoccupied vehicle.

He was arrested by Guntersville Police on the charge, then transferred to the county jail, where his bond was set at $150,000.

Guntersville investigator Mike Turner said the incident stemmed over a dispute involving a woman and happened last Sunday.

“Frazier went to a residence at 4132 Alabama Highway 79-S and assaulted the victim with a shotgun, his hands and his feet,” Turner said. “During the altercation, the shotgun fired and the shot grazed the victim. After the assault, Mr. Frazier shot the tires on the victim’s vehicle.”

Frazier was later arrested by Sgt. Ryan Bradford, Turner said.

The victim was treated and released for his injuries at Marshall North, Turner said. A special condition of Frazier’s bond is that he is to have no contact with the victim.
