Senior Walk for Guntersville High was Thursday, when the graduating seniors go back to the system's other schools and walk the halls while the students line up to congratulate them.
It’s graduation time in Marshall County. These are the dates for Guntersville High and the four schools in the county system:
DAR – May 18, 7:30 p.m.
G’ville – May 19, 7 p.m.
Douglas – May 19, 7:30 p.m.
Brindlee – May 22, 7:30 p.m.
Asbury – May 23, 7:30 p.m.
Guntersville doesn’t have an auditorium with the construction project going on. So that led to some creative scheduling for Awards Night.
“First Baptist Church is going to host us,” principal Chris Andrews said. “We wanted a more formal setting and they were very gracious.”
Awards night is Thursday, May 18, at 6 p.m.
