Jerald Bailey

The former Guntersville High band director, Jerald Bailey has been named the new director of the Brindlee Mountain High School Band. 

Jerald grew up in Southside (Gadsden) and is a graduate of Jacksonville State University and Auburn University.

He served as assistant director for band programs in Alexander City and Sylacauga. He then became the director of bands and assistant professor of music at the University of West Alabama.

For the last 10 years of his teaching career, Jerald was band director at Guntersville High School.

Lori, his wife of 18 years, is music minister at First Methodist Church in Guntersville.

Jerald said they share a love of music and two boys – J.J. and Caleb – both teenagers.
