With more than 800 luminaries on the front lawn, Shepherd’s Cove Hospice invites the community to celebrate loved ones at its annual Lights of Love event on Dec. 14.

The family-friendly memorial event invites the community to take time out of the busy holiday season to reflect on joyful memories with loved ones, past and present. Families are welcome to go through the evening’s various activities at their own pace as best meets their needs. The evening includes cookies and the Frothy Dog coffee truck, live music, a family photo area with photos printed on site at no charge, a memorial craft to complete at home, and more.

Individuals can sponsor a light with a memorial message on the virtual Christmas tree in memory of a loved one and a luminary in the Field of Love for $10. Other participation options include $50 for a virtual light, luminary, and a personalized, hand-painted keepsake ornament or $100 for the light, luminary, ornament, and a cedar tree to plant at home in memory of a loved one.

All proceeds benefit the works and missions of Shepherd’s Cove Hospice, Palliative Care, and Grief Support Services through the Shepherd’s Cove Foundation.
