The Guntersville City Tree Commission awarded its “Yard of the Quarter” honor to Keith and Ann Proctor of 1055 Harbor Ridge Road in Gunters Landing.

“The front yard is unblemished Zoysia grass accented with various beds filled with a wide variety of flowering plants and shrubs,” said Linda Reynolds of the Tree Commission.

“Featured plants include sasanqua, abelia, gardenia, perrywinkle and fall mums,” she said. “The back yard is a work in progress with young pines and blueberries.”
