Rock Work

Rockwork has started going on the front of the silos at the City Harbor, in anticipation of its development as a brew pub that could open as early as this spring.

A crew was recently seen placing a rock front on the silos at the City Harbor.

Developer Patrick Lawler announced earlier that the silos would be the future home of a brew pub. He said this week that an announcement could be forthcoming very soon about just what business would be locating there.

He also said the large "City Harbor" sign that will go atop the silos should be installed soon.

In her State of the City speech late last month, Mayor Leigh Dollar said she expects the brew pub to be open this spring.

The rest of the project, which includes retail space, restaurants, a marina, condominiums and more, is on hold pending the outcome of Joel Kennamer's lawsuit against the city over the development.
