Sandra Clines Winfrey, 58, of Guntersville, died peacefully in her home Friday morning, May 31, 2019. She had been diagnosed with cancer last fall.
Sandra was born June 9, 1960, in Guntersville Hospital. She was the third of Tom and Nila Clines’ four children. She attended Guntersville city schools and was a 1978 graduate of Guntersville High School.
Sandra worked at the Arrow Shirt Factory in Boaz after high school. She was a homemaker for several years after the birth of her daughter, Edna Marie, in 1993. She became a full-time employee at Guntersville High School and later transferred to Guntersville Elementary School.
Sandra was a talented seamstress, painter, wallpaper hanger and gardener, and loved animals. She doted on her nieces and nephews and was excited to work in the school that their children attended.
Sandra was a member of Connect Church in Guntersville.
Her family would like to thank Heartlite Hospice Care Alabama for its services and care to Sandra in her final weeks. Sandra was humbled by the sick leave her fellow school employees donated to her.
