Sharon Ann Fanning Harbin, cherished wife, devoted mother, loving daughter, and loyal sister, passed away Saturday, May 4, 2019, in Huntsville Hospital surrounded by loved ones, at the age of 38.
Sharon was born on January 26, 1981, in Huntsville, Alabama, but moved with her family to Scottsboro when she was in the first grade. She graduated from Scottsboro High School in 1999, and soon moved to Swearengin to marry the love of her life and start a family.
Sharon was passionate about her faith, her family, her church (Living Word Ministries), her friends, her sports teams (Scottsboro, DAR, and Alabama) and every child everywhere. She mentored many youth through the rec program and supported her children and community children in every sport and endeavor. She pushed you, encouraged you, and made you better.
She worked as a dental hygienist for 2 dental groups that also became family. She touched the life of each person she encountered and warmed every heart with her radiant smile. She was an artist and fierce competitor. Her greatest foe was melanoma that she battled valiantly with the help of her loving supporters. She is forever #harbinstrong.
