Mariah is a beautiful female Shepherd mix. She is about 2 years old, and is a nice, medium size; weighing around 50 pounds. She is a little timid and unsure at first meeting. However, she warms up quickly, and desires the attention of her human. She is low key, low energy, and laid back.
Mariah is eager to please and learns quickly. After only 5 to 7 minutes of leash training, she was already heeling so nicely.
She is really sweet and enjoys petting, but does not like to be picked up. For this reason, it would be best if she was not around small children who might pull on her, lay on her, hug her, etc.
In her short life, Mariah has already given birth to at least one litter of pups and has been picked up as a stray and brought to a shelter. It is time for Mariah to be able to enjoy a peaceful life, and be the center of someone's attention. Will you give Mariah the second chance at life that she deserves?
Mariah is available for adoption at Marshall County Animal Control Alabama shelter in Albertville. To learn more about Mariah, or any of the other shelter dogs please call 256-960-6623 or 256-960-1408 to schedule a visit. The adoption fee is only $100; which includes spay/neuter and vaccinations.
