Congressman Robert Aderholt remained in quarantine at week's end at his family's weekend place in Guntersville.
He was exposed to someone who tested positive for COVID-19 last week while in Haleyville. He went into self-quarantine immediately upon learning of the situation. It caused him to miss this week's work in Washington D.C.
Congressman Aderholt had another COVID-19 test, the third since he went into quarantine a week ago, his staff reported Thursday.
This test, which was a PCR test rather than the rapid test, also came back negative. However, he will continue to self-isolate until early next week.
He remains symptom free.
