Have old documents been piling up on you? There are two opportunities in the next week to get them shredded for free.

Both the Lake Guntersville Chamber of Commerce and Marshall County PALS will hold “Shred Days” in the next week.

The Chamber’s Shred Day will be Wednesday, October 16, from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Chamber office at 200 Gunter Avenue.

The Chamber is asking participants to limit their shredding to 3 boxes/bags per person, paper products only. They will NOT accept 3-ring binders, electronics or medical/hazardous waste. A recycling trailer will be on site for any recyclables you might have.

Marshall County PALS will hold its Shred Day on Saturday, October 19, at the Marshall County Board of Education office parking lot next door to Marshall Technical School. It will run from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m.
