There will be a large dumpster at the District 2 shop in Grant on Monday, March 20, for items such as mattresses, lumber, furniture, old carpet, etc to be disposed of (not for household garbage), said Cecelia Pullen of MCPALS. 

White goods will be picked up curbside by calling the shop at 256-728-4117 to schedule a pick-up. Please have items at curbside by 6:00 a.m. on pick-up day. White goods are old appliances such as water heaters, air conditioners, stoves, dishwashers, washing machines and dryers.
