The old record was 248 yards in a single game. It was set by Chaz Rogers, Guntersville’s quarterback in the 2006 state championship season, against Brooks.

Zak hooked up with 4 different receivers to amass all those yards. The breakdown went like this:

Campbell Leach — 5 receptions for 143 yards.

Jack Harris — 8 receptions for 101 yards.

Cooper Davidson — 7 receptions for 97 yards.

Brandon Maples — 2 catches for 21 yards.
