Col. Michael Hollis Feehan (retired, Army) passed away on Monday, January 11, 2021. He was 65.
The private service, due to COVID regulations, will be held Saturday, January 16, 2021, at Guntersville Memorial Chapel with Revs. Jonathan Yarbro and Ricky Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Union Grove First Baptist Church Cemetery.
Col. Feehan spent 30 years in the military. He received numerous decorations, awards, service medals and badges including the Army Achievement Medal and the Order of the Dragon. Col. Feehan was commander of Company B in Garlstedt, Germany.
Mike was a 1977 graduate of Auburn Unversity with a degree in criminal justice.
He is survived by his wife of 16 years, Carla Gibson Feehan; honorary grandson, Owen Hudson; daughter, Julie Jane Feehan; mother, L. Jane Feehan; brother, Richard H. Feehan; and sister, L. Dean McRoberts.
He was preceded in death by his father, Norman Bernard (Buddy) Feehan; grandparents, Norman Bernard Feehan Sr., Lilla Feehan, Velpeau Hollis and Lena Hollis.
Pallbearers will be Charlie Massimini, Conrad Hamilton, Trent Winstead, Adrian De La Rosa, Randy Kraft and Greg McRoberts. Owen Hudson will be an honorary pallbearer.
The family requests no flowers. Donations may be made to the First United Methodist Church of Guntersville.
