Timothy “Jerome” Nailer of Guntersville passed away on February 24, 2021, due to medical conditions.
Jerome was a commercial fisherman most all of his life and then became a business owner of Nailer’s Vinyl Siding.
Jerome loved the outdoors and he held several records throughout his years. Jerome and his uncle Wayne Foster held the record of the biggest catfish of 106 pounds for many years, caught right here in Guntersville Lake.
He was very successful at whatever he did. But one of his biggest accomplishments was being the most loving husband and amazing father to not only his children but many others. Jerome’s best characteristics were showing love, having fun and spreading laughter. This man has truly left his legacy as one of the greatest man who ever walked and will truly be missed!
He is survived by his wife, Juanita Crider Nailer; daughters Connie (Teto) Tucker, Debbie "Chris" Nailer and Mitzi (Daniel) Luce; brother Lavon (Dot) Nailer; sisters Elaine (Lynn) Roe, Dianne (Fred) Azarabadi and Jenny (Mike) O'brien; 8 grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren.,
He was preceded in death by his parents Forney "Slim" and Louise Nailer; sons Timmy Chris Nailer and Anthony Jerome "Tony" Crider; and a brother, Joe Orvil Nailer.
Visitation will be today (Saturday) with funeral services following at 2 p.m. at Guntersville Memorial Chapel. Burial will be at Mt. Olive Cemetery.
