Jesse Bradshaw " Pop Pop" Fowlkes of Grant, age 71, went to rest in heaven on December 24, 2021, Christmas Eve, surrounded by his family and loved ones.

Jesse was born in Dyersburg, Tennessee, on January 24, 1951. Jesse loved playing golf, fishing, cooking, wood working, and above all, spending time with his family.

He loved watching his grandsons growing up and playing basketball throughout his years. He also enjoyed cheering on Alabama's Crimson Tide with his friends and family.

Jesse was a Publix store manager and a huge part of the Publix community for many years. Jesse ran a barbeque restaurant, Triple L Barbeque, with his family in recent years.

Jesse is reunited in heaven and preceded in death by his mother, father, mother-in-law, and father-in-law, brother-in-law Ernie and his best friend Bruce.

Jesse is survived by his wife, Susan Fowlkes; his son, Colby Fowlkes; his daughter, Meaghan (Shane) Harbin; his grandsons, Landen (Ragan) Harbin, Lawson Harbin, and Laken Harbin; his siblings, Gordon (Laura) Fowlkes, Eve (Don) Lichay, Albert (Vicki) Fowlkes and Buster Pressel; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and numerous dear friends.
