Johnny Gray Alexander was born on June 15, 1954, in Guntersville to the late John and Frankie Alexander. He died February 19, 2021.
At a young age, he began employment at Kendall Mills to Monsanto for 10 years until the company closed. After his employment with the company, he decided to venture out on his own to do landscaping and house renovation. During this time, he touched many lives.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John Gordon and Frankie Kathleen Alexander, and brother Thomas Edward Fennell.
In 1973, Johnny married Carol Yvonne Looney. During this time, he had four children: Kimberly Looney Alexander, Eric Alexander, (twins) Jonathan (Amanda) Alexander and Jillian (Michael) Crawford, and (daughter) Arreynia Collins Alexander. He also has 10 grandchildren, 4 great- grandchildren, 3 brothers, Freeman Alexander (Barbara), Gerel W. Alexander, James Kent Alexander; 3 sisters, Carolyn Alexander Pinchon (Wayne), Kathy Alexander Greene (James) and Joneea Alexander Lemar; an aunt, Jeanette Mickens (Andrew); an uncle, Charles Alexander (Mary); and 6 sister-in-laws, Haddie Love, Mary Looney, Cloria Looney, Thelma Horton an d Shelia Hampton; and 4 brothers-in-law, Cleo Looney Jr., Dexter Looney, Ted Looney and Jason Havis (Laparria); along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
