Karl “Kevin” Provens was born in Scottsboro, Alabama, on April 14, 1989, to Pamela Provens and Karl Moore. Kevin died on Friday May 21, 2021.
He is preceded in death by his father, Karl Kevin Moore.
Kevin is survived by his daughters Kadence Provens and Ella Provens; mother, Pamela Provens; sisters, Brittney Provens and Mikayla Moore; brothers, Chadwick Provens and Nicholas Chubb; stepsister, Taylor Hawkins; grandmothers, Bobbie Moore and Norma Miracle; grandfather, Clarence Moliere (Tammy Burkhart); three uncles, Christopher (April) Provens, Marcus (Mychal) Provens and Darrell Moore; a special aunt, Alma Jean Moore; and a cousin, Trey Horton.
Kevin’s inclination was to be a protector and provider. He was a devoted father to Kadence and Ella. Kevin was dedicated to being a great example to his girls. He always wanted to be present and support them in their activities and schooling. Kevin’s family was so important to him. He always kept that infectious smile while around them.
Kevin was loved by many and well known in the community. It’s a testament to his uncanny ability to reach people in a deep and positive way. He could always be found with a smile on his face. If Kevin brought you into the fold, he would just be a phone call away if you ever needed anything. Kevin truly lived life to the fullest through many things; shooting and growing his gun collection, razor and motorcycle riding, sipping good bourbon, trying a new cigar….Above all he loved to spend time with his family and friends.
Though Kevin’s days on this Earth were not enough for us, God needed him home to do his work with him. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.
