Nanetta Graves of Guntersville, who’d been living in Mobile lately, died Monday, January 6, 2020. She was 74.
She suffered a heart attack the previous Friday while packing her belongings to move back to Marshall County. She donated her organs.
She was a friend of The Advertiser-Gleam and frequently would call in news tips anytime she saw something she thought might make a good story for the paper. She would stop by the office just to visit and say hello as well.
She was preceded in death by her father, Adkins Graves; mother, Lillie Graves; and brother, Pete Graves.
Surviving are daughter Christy (Blynn) Knight; son, Mark Jones; daughter, Canette (Steve) Collins; son, Mickey (Mary) Jones; daughter, Carri (Mack) Frolik; grandchildren, Jeremy Taylor, Anthony Taylor, Michael Scott Jones, Blake Collins, Beth Jones, Jacob Jones, Emma Jones, Maggie Jones, Mason Frolik and Gracie Frolik; great grandchildren, Nathan Taylor, Alexyss Chambers, Teagan Strawn, Jathan Taylor and Jace Taylor; a niece, Tabitha Graves; and a nephew, Matthew Graves.
The funeral was Friday at New Hope Funeral Home.
