Patricia A. Turner, 79, of Guntersville passed away on Wednesday, February 15, 2023, at Shepherd’s Cove Hospice after a 13-year battle with Alzheimer’s disease.
Patricia was born in Etowah County on March 17, 1943, to her parents Ruth and Fletcher Skillman, who preceded her in death.
Patricia graduated from West End High School in 1962 and pursued a career in banking. Patricia worked at First Alabama Bank and then Regions Bank for over 25 years. Pat never met a stranger and considered all of her customers a friend.
Patricia is also preceded in death by her siblings; Willene Turner (Art), Robert Skillman, and Martha Nabors (Joe).
Patricia is survived by her husband of 62 years, Roy Turner, her daughter, Mary Grace Hammond (Adam), and four grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Augusta Skillman.
A family graveside service will be held later.
