Ms. Vicki Marlyne Laney, 68, of Grant, Alabama, passed away Friday, April 28, 2023. Vicki was loved by many; a best friend to her daughters; and her grandchildren were her world.
She is survived by her daughters, Alicia Alexander (Ben) and Kandi Mason (Mack); grandchildren, Jarett Mason, Lane Mason, and Laney Smith; life partner, Patrick Payne and his family; nephews, Carl Laney and Jason Ruschmann; and niece, Roxanne Woods. She was preceded in death by her mother, Jacque King; her father, Carl Laney; her brothers, Keith Laney, Stephen Laney, and Geoff Laney; and her sisters, Karla Gayle and Judith Vines.
Her family will have a private service. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Susan G. Komen Cancer Foundation. Grant Memorial Chapel assisted the family.Â
