To the Advertiser-Gleam:

This is in regards to the 4 ladies who spoke against Veterans Freedom Park at the last City Council meeting. 

Speaking for the four generations of our families who protected your right to speak freely; you’re welcome.

However, it’s a shame you can’t honor the men and women with proper respect. I’m sure those being memorialized would apologize for obstructing your view and using your “green space” in memory of their sacrifices. You are welcome; speak freely, but use the “right” properly; just using the right, being present, and breathing doesn’t protect it.
