Marshall County Tourism & Sports - the agency that puts on the HydroFest boat races, announces that there are changes to the parking lots and pick-up points for this year's event.

Public lots will be at Marshall County Park No. 1, Lurleen B. Wallace Pavilion and Cherokee School only. Buses will pick up there and at the Hampton, Wyndham and State Park hotels. You must ride one of the shuttle buses to get to the venue.

There will be a meet and greet on Friday morning at Marshall County Park No. 1 from 9:00-10:30 a.m. that is open to the public.

There will be a test session on Friday from 2 to 5 p.m. Public transportation is not being provided for the test session as Tourism & Sports will still be in setup mode, and the Sunset Drive road will be closed. If the public wishes, they can walk in, but there will be no parking shuttles running on Friday.

VIP and Club level tents are not open on Friday.

It is basically a free day if folks want to come and watch testing.
