Brian “Keith” Nichols, 50, of Albertville, died Wednesday, December 26th. A memorial service was held at Mount Sinai Baptist Church in Horton on Sunday, December 30.

Adams Brown Service Funeral Home handled the arrangements.

James Walker

James L. Walker of Boaz died at Marshall South Tuesday, December 25, 2018. He was 84.

The funeral was Saturday, December 29, at New Bethel Church of Cleveland with Adams Brown Service Funeral Home directing.

Ken Burns

A retired educator and longtime Asbury Fire Department member, Ken Burns died Thursday, December 27, 2018. He was 79.

The funeral was Saturday, Dec. 29, at Albertville Memorial Funeral Home. An Asbury fire truck carried him to his final resting place at New Canaan Church Cemetery.

Roger Maness

Roger Ladon Maness, 72, of Albertville, died Monday, December 24, 2018, at Marshall South.

No formal service is planned. Albertville Funeral Home assisted the family.

Billy McCoy

Billy Wayne McCoy, 84, of Oneonta was born November 9, 1934, in Marshall County and died on December 24, 2018.

The family received friends on Sunday, December 30, at Lemley Funeral Home. The funeral followed with Pastor Joel Williams officiating.

Eleanor Rice

Eleanor Rice, 87, of Grant, died Saturday, December 29, 2018, at Highlands Medical Center.

Imogene Bearden

Margaret "Imogene" Bearden died Tuesday, January 1, 2019, at Marshall Medical Center South. She was 93.

The funeral was at Adams Brown Service Funeral Home with burial in Asbury Methodist Church Cemetery.

Nelda Thorpe

Nelda Sue Thorpe of Guntersville died December 27, 2018. She was 80.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. W.T. Wilson Funeral Home in Rainsville assisted the family.

Philip Tatum

Philip Michele Tatum, 74, of Guntersville, died at his residence early Monday morning, December 31, 2018 .

The memorial service will be private. Guntersville Memorial Chapel assisted the family.
