The Guntersville Wildcats took it to the Brewer Patriots Friday night by a score of 74-51 to go 2-0 in the area and 11-3 overall.

Guntersville was scheduled to take on Brewer earlier in the season but COVID protocols postponed the game.

Jerrell Williamson didn’t miss a beat as he scored 25 points to lead the Wildcats.

Dewayne Hundley also had a big night with 11 points, Jack Harris and Brandon Fussell each had 10 points, Curt Blanchard added six and Stanley Michel had four points.

Guntersville took on DAR last night (Tuesday) in a rescheduled game, which was postponed back in December. They will then travel to Fairview Friday night for another area matchup.

Guntersville will have just one more area game to play after Friday night. They will take on Brewer Jan. 19 on the road to wrap up area play.
