Guntersville High School held a Homecoming pep rally inside Chorba-Lee Stadium Friday morning ahead of the game against West Point. 

Guntersville Principal Roseanne Mabrey said the pep rally was moved from the gym to the football stadium in an effort to help students, teachers and parents maintain social distancing. 

The Crimson Guard played on the field while the Guntersville cheerleaders performed as well. Guntersville football seniors were recognized and Guntersville head coach Lance Reese spoke to the crowd about supporting the 'Cats against West Point. 

Students also took part in games and class cheers before dismissing at 11 a.m. ahead of the homecoming parade at 2 p.m.
