The Lady Wildcats bounced back after a Monday loss at home against Albertville and beat Arab the following day.
Against Albertville, the Lady Wildcats came up short 11-6. Addi Yarbrough had three hits in the loss and three RBI. Yarbrough and Brittany Slaten split time on the mound as they each pitched four innings.
Albertville was leading 6-4 going into the 7th inning when the Lady Wildcats tied the game up with two runs. It was all Albertville in extra innings as the Lady Aggies scored five runs to win the game.
The Lady Wildcats bounced back the very next day and got an 11-5 home against Arab. Riley Thomas had three hits, Slaten had a three-run homerun and Anna Vandergriff had two RBI. Yarbrough pitched all seven innings for the Lady Wildcats striking out three batters.
Guntersville traveled to North Jackson on Thursday then the Lady Wildcats will travel to Arab on Tuesday. Guntersville is 6-8 over all and 3-0 in the region. The only region game left for the Lady Wildcats is April 13 at Fairview.
