CJ Williamson

Former Guntersville Wildcat and current Faulkner Eagle C.J. Williamson was named the Southern States Athletic Conference Co-Player of the Year. 

The Southern States Athletic Conference released the 2021 men's basketball yearly awards, as voted on by the league's head coaches.

Former Guntersville Wildcat and current Faulkner Eagle C.J. Williamson was named Co-Player of the year along with Trey Petty of Stillman. 

Williamson has had a standout year with the Eagles averaging 18.2 points per game, 7.6 rebounds and 1.5 steals per game, ranking 3rd in the SSAC in ppg and 5th in spg. 

Faulkner coach Scott Sanderson was also named the SSAC's Coach of the Year. The Eagles posted an impressive 25-2 regular season record and won the 2021 SSAC tournament championship. Williamson had 11 points and 11 rebounds in the win. 

Williamson finished his junior season at Faulkner on a high note and remained a steady for the Eagles all year long. 

Williamson is the son of Chrunn and Allison Williamson.
